Photographing Rainbows
Rainbows, no matter how many times I see then, I still get excited. They are a beauty of nature, especially after a ” little” bit of photoshop has been applied to them…
They’re no the easiest subjects to photograph, as the lens won’t focus on them automatically. Then I have to rely on my eye and set the lens to Manual Focus (not always the most reliable). But, for this, they came out clear enough.
Here is what the rainbow looked like in its natural form:
The colours are just fantastic. It makes me think of the little ditty I learned as a kid - I can’t remember the ditty itself, but I remember the colours of the rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

It almost looks like a strange comet!
