Christmas With a Difference
Christmas is a fun time of year. Lots of decorations, parties, presents and Christmas Carols. I was recently in Sydney’s Rocks area and they were decorating with a difference - using recycled soft drink bottles…
Here is a close up before the rest of the ‘tree’ is unfolded:
Not that this tree will produce any oxygen, but at least this eventual ‘landfill’ is going to be aesthetically enjoyed before it is turned into something else entirely.
Now for the complete tree:
Unfortunately, it was a bright, overcast day, so the sky effect is lost. Still you get the idea. It was awfully hot the day I took this photograph. Hopefully the bottles won’t melt sitting there in the pelting hot summer sun
