Grab the Sunshine While You Can

On a recent weekend away, the weather decided not to cooperate, and despite beautiful sunny days for weeks before, the weekend I chose to head to the beach, it rained. It didn’t just rained, the wind howled and debris was flying all over the place.

For a brief 2 hours on the Saturday though, the sun came out. I grabbed this opportunity in case it didn’t repeat itself, to take a few happy snaps:

Spot the Difference

I’ve been taking photos since I was still in single digits. I’m still nowhere near knowing all there is to know about photography. One of the first things you develop (if you really want to) is the eye. Some people have it naturally, or “by accident”. Others (like me) have to work on it.

My mother is also someone who is starting to work on hers.

Photographs of Amazing Cakes

I recently went to a Food Show, and part of the event included a culinary competition specific to cakes. It’s amazing what creations there were. There was a wedding cake section, as well as other artistic cakes. I’d never want to eat them!
